# Borgore

> An Israeli producer who built a label around bass-heavy EDM and a persona that leaned into provocation - the name itself a dare. Borgore turned festival dubstep into a brand, then spent years proving he could rap and sing over it too.

## Bio

Yosef Asaf Borger was born on 20 October 1987. As Borgore, he rose through the EDM circuit as a producer and DJ with a taste for low-end punishment and a willingness to court controversy. He founded Buygore Records, giving himself a platform to release without permission. Over time the role expanded: he added vocals, wrote hooks, rapped over his own beats. The arc bent from pure producer to something closer to a one-man genre exercise - still loud, still his.
