## Bio

Mariana Barreiros dos Santos Gonçalves was nine when the artistic world opened: Disney voice work (Toy Story 3, Tangled, Minnie & You), acting workshops across Portugal, Switzerland, Norway, and England, piano and voice lessons, and a first band called Flames on Fire where she sang lead and played guitar. Fifteen years at St. Julians School left her feeling her emotions in English, so that became the language of her songs. She studied Marketing and Advertisement at IADE while building a catalog of piano and guitar compositions under the name April Ivy. Now she writes and performs her own material and composes for other artists, the voice that once belonged to cartoons entirely her own.
