> Anny Schlemm was a German soprano and later mezzo-soprano and contralto. She was a member of the Komische Oper Berlin from 1949, working with Walter Felsenstein. She premiered one of her signature roles there, Boulotte in Offenbach's Barbe-bleue in 1963, performing it 257 times until 1992.
