## Bio

Alyssa Rosenzweig is a Canadian software developer who made her name in the open-source world by doing what most consider impossible: creating free software graphics drivers without manufacturer help. The work requires disassembling proprietary systems, inferring how chips communicate, and writing thousands of lines of driver code so that users aren't locked into closed ecosystems. She's become a prominent voice in the software freedom movement, arguing that hardware you own should run code you control. The technical skill is rare, but the conviction behind it is rarer.
