Before that, from 20 April 2006 until 22 February 2022, he served as a priest of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Buéa, Cameroon. Pope Francis appointed him bishop. He was consecrated at Mamfe on 5 May 2022 by Andrew Nkea Fuanya, Archbishop of Bamenda.
