# Alexander Abramov-Mirov

> Alexander Abramov-Mirov was a Soviet Comintern communications officer and intelligence agent. Believed by those in charge to be insufficiently distanced from Leon Trotsky, with whom he had worked closely in the past, he was shot to death on 26 November 1937, the day after he was convicted. His wife suffered the same fate on 8 February 1938.
